CaptureAge is a fully remote, Xbox-partnered game development studio, built around a team with broad experience across games, AAA co-development, in-house software, and independent projects.
CaptureAge works across co-development, original projects, and internal tools, shaped by a small, senior team used to operating inside live production environments. We collaborate with publishers and other studios, take ownership of complex systems and content, and apply the same care and long-term thinking to our own software and projects, including shipped AAA DLCs for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, co-development work on Age of Mythology: Retold, and the development of CA:DE.
We design and build complete game experiences, from mechanics and systems to narrative and content, across both partner work and original studio projects.
We deliver game features, systems, and content end-to-end, from early prototypes to shipped releases, working independently or as part of larger production teams on PC and console (Xbox, PlayStation).
We design and implement game systems, mechanics, and narratives that support long-term play, competitive depth, and clear player expression, across genres and production scales.
Our team has worked directly within esports tournaments and competitive communities, shaping how we approach game and software development.
