CA:DE is the best™ analysis tool for Age of Empires II

Step 1: Download the CA:DE client.If you have CA:DE installed already, please skip to Step 3.

CA:DE has full support for the Steam version of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. We also have preliminary support for the MS Store and Xbox App/Game Pass versions, but they may present some issues. If you're using a non-Steam version and notice anything wrong, please report the issue.

Running CA:DE requires keeping Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition running in the background, and as such, a small amount of extra computer resources on top of the game's minimal requirements are needed. Keep in mind that Age II officially only supports Windows 10 and above.

Step 2: Install CA:DE by running the installer and following its steps.
Step 3: Launch CA:DE. It will prompt you to dive straight into the match you selected in Age of Empires 2.From now on: everytime you click "Spectate with CaptureAge" within the game, CA:DE will launch automatically.
