Redbull and Microsoft hosted a wildly successful €20,000 Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition tournament. The first “Redbull Wololo” peaked with over 32,000 concurrent viewers on the official Redbull channels and an additional 20,000+ in localized streams over the 4 day event. The community response to Redbull and Microsoft working with existing commentators and us (CaptureAge) on their branded spectator design went down incredibly well. Redbull was quick to announce that there would be a follow up, which happened a few months later in August.

After the success of the overlay for the "Red Bull Wololo" events as well as the T90 Hidden Cup version we worked hard to make a more general version (without custom branding) available to more content creators.

September 17th - October 25th 2020

Another notable event that sported a custom CaptureAge overlay was KotD3, a $50,000 1v1 tournament hosted by MembTV and sponsored by PinzTec and Microsoft. For this overlay we did tried some concepts to try to design an overlay that matched MembTV's existing style. As it appeared this worked quite as the overlay was very well received by both MembTV and his viewers.

March 19th-22nd 2020

T90Official, the host of the third edition of the well known Hidden Cup, sponsored the CaptureAge team to develop an all-new streaming overlay for Hidden Cup 3, a $50k+ tournament played on Age of Empires II DE.
